The regeneration of the Water of Leith Walkway began in 1970s. Since then CRA have been involved in assisting with the various challenging sections of the walkway system, including new bridges, pathway reconstruction and retaining walls. When completed the final path will run continuously for 18km linking Balerno to Leith.
